Having spent over a week experimenting and testing I have finally produced my first fully functional unattended XP install DVD.
It comes with the following software pre-installed, registered etc.
Firefox
Thunderbird
Sygate
Avast
UltraEdit
UltraCompare
Cleartype
ALC
QuarkXpress 7.2
FlashFXP
.net 2.0
Also ALL of the tweaks/fixes/hotfixes(MS)/registry hacks are also slipstreamed.
Many thanks to the guys over at
www.msfn.org for their help and to nLite for creating the DVD for me.
nLite also allows you to decide what software/services/registry entries to leave/omit/alter.
Really impressed.
The beauty of this is that now I have the "knowledge" I can knock one out in less than 10 minutes, and the guys over at nLite are in the process of creating the same for Vista
