What do you think would be the best option from these two possibilities?

Option 1:
DDR333
1.5 Gb RAM running single channel

Option 2:
DDR333
1 Gb RAM in dual channel mode

First option offers more memory but the trade-off is the mobo switching to single channel.
I'm tempted to go with the second option despite being able to use less of the RAM but I'm not sure exactly what the performance gain would be from dual channel.

I guess there is also an option 3 which is to buy another ram stick but at this time I don't want to spend more money on this particular setup.

So, more informed guesses are invited..
At some point I'll run 3dmark as well, it'll be interesting to see how those results compare.
