Ok guys .... Punkbuster.

What is it?

Punkbuster or PB is a pretty slick anti-cheat system which is integrated into some online games but is updated & maintained independant of the game.

What does this have to do with CPS?

Well if you want to play on our COD4 server, then pretty much the official advice from the Admin Team is to follow the rules below.

1) Find out which O/S you have & select the link for it below.
2) Install the downloaded tool & add the games using PB you have installed.
3) Let the tool update your PB to the latest version.
4) If you get a server is running old PB version message on our servers then let the Admin Team know so we can keep the server up to date & cheating ****bag free.

The good thing about this little widget is that when you add your games from the drop down list 99/100 times it will auto-detect the correct paths to the games.

I tried it earlier & COD4 PB was updated .... expect this to be a regular occurence for some time to come as new work-rounds & loopholes are closed.
