From humble beginnings in a Cornish front room, CPS has grown into a monster. The main server is full most evenings and weekends, the forums and member list continue to grow and five years on, we have more active members than ever.
CPS could not run without donations from its members and the work of a small but dedicated team, all of whom give up their time - and sometimes their employer's time

- to keep things ticking over as smoothly as possible. You can learn a little more about our regulars in the Mugshots area
here.
We are a group of like minded people from all over the world who enjoy playing Medal of Honour Spearhead and getting together on the CPS Forum. CPS used to be an acronym for Cornish Pastie Server as it was originally a home-run server based in Cornwall. In order to reflect the widening fame and popularity of this humble little gaming community, the name was changed to Cornish Public Server as it moved to a commercially hosted server paid for by regulars.
We pay for the privilege of playing on one of the last great bastions of run-and-gun gaming accessible to a such a wide range of people out of our own pockets. Those who contribute to the running of the server are known as RS or Revenue Support members and are entitled to wear the CPS tags in their gamer-name. RS membership also entitles you to access to the RS forum where the paying members can discuss the direction of the server and more private CPS related matters.
'Spearheaded' by Gothic and supported by the
admin staff, the Cornish Public Server is proud to be a democracy and has continued to survive by listening to the needs of its patrons and members and will continue to exist for as long as people still play Spearhead.
