I have posted some items from TED before but there are a couple of recent talks that I've watched that might be of interest.
The first is from an expert in creativity, Sir Ken Robinson. His speech can be a little annoying at times (he likes his own jokes) but it makes some very interesting points. The nub of his speech is that there are multiple kinds of intelligence and that our education system stifles them "We are educating people out of their creativity,". If you work in education, are in education, or have 'troubled' children you can't miss this:
