I bought one of these last time they had them in, as my spare cheap DVD player packed up in the Bedroom. I was impressed to say the least.

The coolest thing about it is it will play RAW avi files straight from a data written RW DVD or CD. Basically for example.... I can download an episode of Top Gear I missed throw it straight to disc and watch it with no degradation of quality no encoding nothing.

Also because its got a USB slot on the front I sometimes use my USB stick to put files under a Gb on to save even more hassle.

Memory card slots are bloody handy to.

And also comes with a 3yr warranty can not complain!!


Highly recommend the great thing about Lidl is if for any reason you dont like what you have bought throw it back at them with the receipt they never quibble.

To set it codefree follow these steps:

1. Open tray

2. Press 9 9 9 9

3. Enter Region (9 = multi-region)

4. Close Tray

5. Turn player off and on
