im having serious issues since i bought my new hd3850
cod2 will only run for about 10 mins then the pc will "shutdown" but the power switch light mouse light and keyboard lights stay alight. (other games seem just fine )
the very same thing also happens if i autotune the card with atis overdrive facility
system specs below
mobo intel eatonville d915gev
cpu prescott 560j 3.6ghz
psu 480w thermaltake butterfly
ram 2 gig
gfx radeon sapphire 3850 hd with latest drivers
windows xp sp2
at first i thought it was a thermal issue so i bought a new cooler and lowered load temps from the mid 70s down to the mid 60s but still the problem prevails
im now turning my thoughts to the psu but from what ive read a 480w should run with this card with no problems
any thoughts guys
