OK, here's the scenario.

Client has a freebie laptop from a company that went bust.
Laptop was formerly joined to a domain, so it has inherited a whole raft of controls that prevent the user doing stuff.
The administrator password is unknown.
The password to join to a non-domain local account is unknown.

I can't remove it from the domain without admin rights, so that's a no-no.

I'm thinking OPHcrack to clear all passwords, but can anyone think of a better way?
