does anybody know if its possible to replace the socket that connects to the charger/mains ive found someone with a charged battery and it works fine however when connected to the mains or charging it doesnt work at all the socket itself is bust.its connected to the mobo by solder and it looks an "iffy" job to say the least and im certain im not competent of fixing it myself if indeed it can be fixed at all.contacting dell is out of the question apparently because the warrenty has expired they want a shed load of money just to look at it:117:
