i have just had the most amazing laptop to look at "its running really slow " said the guy on the phone. no av no firewall(well it was there but all disabled) and rammed to the hilt with porn. at one point i think there were 76 progs running in the background (im down to about 22 on mine) the thing was a complete disaster in my short and very much still learning up and coming career of pc fixing i have never come across such an infected machine.i had to call him back to explain it would be easier to back up anything important and format the lot and could he bring the recovery discs with him only to be told "erm its actually a work machine and i need it for work i was rather hoping you could fix it over the weekend" well fix it i did (to a degree) most of the weekend was spent weeding out all the remnants of the nasties and deleting the porn and trying to keep any important data on the machine free from corruption . corruption being the keyword here it turns out the guy is something to do with a certain political party and is a secretary for one of the local mps!!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil:
